M&A is testing a new way to deliver financial statements. It’s called Dropbox. Today we set up our first client, and Sadig Abdelmotal has graciously agreed to be our guinea pig. The concept is that we create a client’s financial statement in pdf form, copy it into our Dropbox file folder for that client. After that client sets up his/her own Dropbox account, we can share the statement folder with the client. Once they accept the share request, anything we put into that folder automatically populates into a folder on their computer. Neat, huh? We’re excited! Testing has begun and we’ll watch how effectively it works.
